Year of Open Source

Sam Muirhead’s “Year of Open Source” has generated a lot of buzz – both positive and negative.  A Berlin-based filmmaker, Muirhead has vowed to live an “open source life,” avoiding all proprietary products for one year or, as he says: “One year of using and creating only open source solutions for every aspect of life, from cutting videos to chopping onions.”  We want to hear your opinion about his initiative:
